I'm always on the phone

Sinkane is the music, life and love of mine. My name is Ahmed Gallab and I am a musician residing in New York City.  I have played in the bands Caribou, of Montreal and Born Ruffians. I currently play with the band Yeasayer.
This blog represents the influences that inspire me to create my own music. I post free downloads of mine and other people’s music (sometimes mirrored from other sites). I enjoy writing about my friends’ creative works as well. You can also find Sinkane pictures, videos and live performance updates on this blog.

Eventually, I will open up a web store where I will sell limited edition, special Sinkane records and goodies.
